Mormon Potluck Podcast: Episode 14

Smart? Us? Duh… I dunno.

In this episode we take a peek at the “intellectual” Mormon and his literature: Sunstone Magazine. That’s right! We brave the waters just enough to get our feet wet (or is that from walking on top of it?) and raise more questions than answers. In our usual fashion we jump in, semi-informed, half thought out, and totally uncensored.

Sunstoners beware! We have the truth and we’re not afraid to hide it :-)

    Great job guys

    A few things:

    1) Primaries start Jan 3, 2008 in Iowa (NH has a law to be first so they are still TBD). January is filled with SC, MI and the rebellious FL. Come February is SUPER DUPER TUESDAY (it merits ‘duper’ because it is the biggest one day primary in US history) where 20 states are lined up to vote.

    2) About the DNA issue. Check out FairLDS.org for Mormon apologetic responses to the 2003 study.

    3) Bigfoot? Why don’t you check out Elder Ballard’s Q&A with US News World & Report. He would rather label the Church ‘New Testament Christians’, which is an interesting contrast to the Baptist’s hand at Mormon taxology.

    I love the show guys!
It is tough to square the “intellectual” thing with the “faith” thing.
Also I logged into the facebook part of the show. I honestly don’t get it! It must be a cli vs. gui thing or PC vs. Mac?
    Keep up the good work!
