<description>i just found your podcast. i am here in south korea and it is a real confort to hear people talk and laugh about church crap the way that you guys do. i have only listened to episode 10 and also just today 9 while a was riding my bike around in an unfamiliar place but feeling comforted. the big topic on this one was --- sunday sports / work? yes or no?

i feel like i&#039;m a pretty liberal mormon but this is a topic that i feel very strongly about. i felt like i was listening to justification after justification on how it was ok to do certain things on sunday.

my personal belief is that sports can be saturday and monday, but sunday should be left to family and friends and to just chilling out. your spirit needs that and also you body does as well.

i recently finished school at BYU hawaii and one of the biggest strugles for me was that from 730 in the morning to about 5 at night the TV was on at my apartment blasting any game that was on. this certainly was not conducive to the spirit of the sabbath day. nearly all of my roommates disliked the roudy sundays that our house had and it ultimately turned into hostility.

i could go on and on and on about what -- I Think -- is right and other experiences that i have had. and this is a bold statement to make, but i feel that sports can be an addiction, and espically on sunday they are a major insturment that satan uses to distract us from keeping one of the origional 10 commandments.

i was going to say something about working too, but i&#039;m tired of typing, and we both know that it should be avoided.

i am looking forward to listening to all of the rest of the podcasts. thanks for doing them.
