Brethren!

I really enjoy the podcast. I came across your podcast a few months back and I'm trying to get caught up on all of the past episodes. I listened to your "Mythbusters" episode a month or so ago. Very interesting! It's amazing how many stories get generated and are continually passed around. You broght up the subject of Steve Young and a mission again later in episode 14 and it finally jogged my memory of something I have seen that might help get to the bottom of this myth. A number of years back, Steve Young, Danny Ainge, and Dale Murphy spoke at a fireside of sorts that has since been broadcast on KBYU and BYU TV. In the program, these sports "icons" speak about their life, their membership in the Church, their experiences in sports and the public eye as a member of the Church, and they each bare powerful testimony of their faith in the restored Gospel. Particularly, Steve Young tells of his experience as a young man contemplating a mission and the specifics of what transpired. As it has been a number of years since I saw the broadcast, I cannot do justice to the story, but I figured that since you guys seem to be quite tech and media savvy, that you might be able to come across the broadcast somehow.

Take care,
